⭐πŸ”₯πŸ’―Feature Requests & PDF Export Issues β€” Text Spacing, Hindi Fonts & HyperlinksπŸ’₯😭😭 PLEASE VOTE πŸ‘ for these Features and bugs

I kindly request you to please consider my suggestions and improve these features in a future update. I would like to request the following improvements: 1. Text Justification Feature Please add a Justify Text option for text boxes and paragraphs. This would be very useful for creating clean and professional notes and documents. 2. Word Spacing & Line Spacing Controls Please add options to adjust word spacing and line spacing in text boxes. This would be especially helpful while writing mathematics questions, equations, and step-by-step solutions, where proper spacing between words, numbers, symbols, and lines is very important for readability and alignment. 3. Hindi Font Distortion After PDF Export When Rasterization is turned OFF and I export my notes as a PDF, Hindi/Devanagari fonts become distorted or incorrectly rendered in the exported PDF. Please fix the PDF text rendering/embedding so that Hindi fonts appear exactly as they do inside Notewise after export. I have already shared example files in my previous email for this issue. Please consider them while investigating the problem. 4. Existing Hyperlinks Not Working After PDF Export I often design pages in Canva and add hyperlinks to text/elements. After importing the design into Notewise and exporting it again as a PDF, the existing hyperlinks do not work in the exported PDF. Please make sure that existing hyperlinks are preserved and remain clickable after PDF export. The links should continue to work exactly as they do in the original PDF/design. Please, please πŸ₯Ί πŸ₯Ί πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™πŸ™consider my suggestions and requests and look into these problems seriously.

Custom Fonts Support

Dear Notewise Team, I love using the app! Please consider adding support for importing custom fonts (TTF/OTF). It would greatly enhance note-taking and personalization. Thank you for your hard work! Best regards,

markdown and more AI

If Markdown is supported including math equations, charts, pics and codes, notewise app will be amazing. Users should be able to choose AI thinking level. And the credit of pro is not even enough for me. I have used up the credits every month.

Preview of the contents on the folder

Hey Guys, Recently, folders no longer display a preview in the folder view. When viewing folders in the main menu, the folder contents are no longer shown. Now only the folder will be recognized as one Now only the folder is displayed as a single color, and that looks boring.

Canvas names displayed are confusing in quick switch menu

I added a few handwritten pages to my lecture notes, and I was able to refer to them easily before the update. Now the notes are divided into two parts β€” the original note and the "Default Canvas" β€” and it causes me significant inconvenience. Why mess up my notes and cause me so much trouble? Also, the AI just changes the names of my PDFs arbitrarily after I import them. Why can't I just import my PDFs with their original names by default? Why force users to update? Why deprive your users of the freedom to choose whether to update or not? I am a paid user. Why can't I just disable the useless AI functions?

Feature requests & improvement suggestions for Notewise (Complete List)

Dear Notewise Development Team, I recently sent an email regarding feedback and suggestions, but it was incomplete. Please consider this email as the complete version containing all of my improvement suggestions. As a frequent and enthusiastic user of Notewise, I would like to thank you for developing such a great application. πŸ‘ To help enhance the app's workflow and productivity, here is the full list of feature requests for future updates: Lasso Tool Duplication: Add the ability to duplicate a lasso selection directly. Drag-and-Drop Across Split Screen: Enable transferring or dragging and dropping selected elements between two open documents in split-screen mode. Sidebar Folder Overview: Improve folder organization and navigation previews in the sidebar. Direct Screenshot via Lasso: Integrate a direct screenshot/capture option within the lasso tool. Sticker Management: Expand the collection and variety of available stickers. Tabbed Document Navigation: Display multiple open documents as tabs at the top of the screen (similar to web browsers or apps like StarNote). Intuitive Split-Screen via Tab Dragging: Allow users to split the screen simply by pressing and dragging a document tab to one side of the screen. Currently, having to go back to the home page and configure split-screen through document options is cumbersome and disrupts workflow. Implementing these enhancements would make multitasking much faster and more seamless, easily placing Notewise ahead of competitors like Goodnotes. πŸ’ͺ Thank you very much for your time, understanding, and continuous work on the app.πŸ˜„ Best regards, Mohamed-Soufiane SAIBARI

β€œNote” vs. β€œCanvas”: could the terminology be more intuitive?

Hi Notewise team, I’m currently trying Notewise after using Samsung Notes, and two things immediately impressed me: erasing with the S Pen button and automatically syncing changes across devices without having to press Save. However, the distinction between β€œNote” and β€œCanvas” confused me enough that I needed an explanation. To me, a β€œnote” is something I write. A collection containing handwriting, PDFs, images, recordings and AI-generated content about one topic feels more like a notebook or a collection. Using β€œNote” for the overall collection and β€œNote view” for its structured presentation makes the distinction harder to grasp. Could the interface distinguish these more clearly? For example: Notebook or Collection for the overall container Canvas / Writing pages for handwritten content AI summary for a generated summary Our slightly tongue-in-cheek favourite was β€œScrapbook”: a place for notes, pictures and assorted material about a topic. An AI-powered scrapbook might actually be a pretty good description! πŸ™‚ The exact name matters less than making the relationship clear without needing to consult the documentation. Even a short explanation when creating the first Note would help. I’d be interested to hear how you arrived at the current terminology. Regards, Thomas

Feature requests & suggestions for Notewise (Android)

Dear Notewise Support Team, As a user who previously used Goodnotes on iPad, I have now switched to Android and am thoroughly enjoying using Notewise. πŸ˜„ To make the app even more practical and pleasant to use, I would like to suggest a few feature enhancements: Folder and subfolder quick preview: A faster overview/tree view of folders and subfolders in the left sidebar of the home screen (right below the tags/keywords section). Direct screenshots via the Lasso tool: The ability to take direct screenshots using the Lasso tool without having to go through a prompt asking to copy or share (similar to Notein). This extra confirmation step significantly slows down the workflow of taking a quick screenshot and moving it to the desired spot. Duplicate option for Lasso selections: A dedicated option to directly duplicate any selection made with the Lasso tool (handwriting, typed text, drawings, images, screenshots), as seen in Notein. Seamless drag-and-drop between documents in split-screen mode: When using split-screen mode, the workflow would be much smoother if we could drag and drop a Lasso selection directly from one document to the other. Currently, the screen split boundary prevents moving the selection across, forcing us to copy from one side and paste into the other. Additional stickers and sticker store: The ability to import custom stickers beyond the built-in ones, as well as the option to download new packs from an in-app store. Thank you very much for your great work and continuous improvements to the app! πŸ‘ Best regards,

Simple Change to NotePads

Can we have a quick shrink to sticky notes? They open easy, but are harder to close. I would rater be able to tap with my finger to open, and close. Can we have this as an option so we can pick and chose this feature? Love the APP! I use this daily! I work with it actually. It has everything I use on it. I cam from noteablity, and love the added features on android, keep up the great work.😜

Some areas need to change

Text box When we paste some large text from internet then it overflow the page rather that taking a new page. If it automatically go to the new page then it will be more helpful. Also it caps a certain limits like 2000 characters. If there is no cap then it will be a good replacement of microsoft word for making notes. Overlap effect while Highlighting I dont know whether other users are said about this features. If i highlight a line or a big word then when i mark second times it add a overlapping effect. And some cases this multiple overlapping effect reduce the visuals of notes. Handwritting to text conversion Unfortunately I have to say this feature is below average in notewise app. Sometime we have to figure out a diagram different parts of a diagram. And then if i select the whole labelled diagram and convert it to text then the size and positions of these converted text is completely changed. And all comes in a single text box. So if i think to move them one by one to the desired place then it also not possible easily. It consumes more time. But after selecting the text box if i think to write then it is still below average. But the aforesaid requirement comes more often and seeks urgent demand to fix it. Math conversion feature There is no math conversion feature. Or LaTeX feature. This feature is really useful. Some additional features. Webpage to note conversion. From any webpage the selected text will automatically decide the notebook page and not solely depend on the textbox. As i said in Point 1

bugs in the latest update

I'm a regular Notewise user and I've noticed some issues with the app's performance on my Samsung Tab S10 Lite, such as stuttering and a drop in writing accuracy. This started after the latest update released a few days ago, and these problems have made the app run poorly, even though I'm subscribed to the Starter plan. I was hoping that you would strive to resolve these problems with a very quick update, as the previous update negatively impacts studies, application performance, and device compatibility. In addition, I noticed the application putting a strain on device resources, which was strange to me, by the way. Thank you for reading my message.
