True Multiple Windows
Would love it you added the ability to have true multiple Windows, or the app open twice. You have side by side notes in same app instance, but would be nice to be able to open the app twice to look at different notes. I use this ability in Samsung Notes all the time, as I need 3 or more notes open as same time and having Notewise app open more then once would be extremely useful.
Home screen folder design
Why did they update the design? It used to be such a lovely design – the folders looked really modern and the font was lovely. And now the folders look completely flat, boring and ugly again, and the font is back to being completely standard! Please reverse this change. The first image shows the new, ugly design and the second image shows the old, lovely design.
Open Up Public APIs to Enable Community-Driven Customization and Extensibility
NoteWise is a powerful tool, but currently it offers a fixed set of features that all users must work with in the same way. Different users have different workflows, preferences, and needs, and there's only so much the core team can build on their own. Without an official way to extend or integrate with NoteWise, users who want more tailored functionality are left with no options — and the community's ideas and creativity go untapped. I would like to suggest that NoteWise open up a set of public APIs that allow the community to build on top of the platform. With official APIs, developers, power users, and third-party tools could: Create custom plugins and extensions that add new functionality Build integrations with other apps and services (e.g., task managers, note sync tools, automation platforms) Tailor the NoteWise experience to their own specific workflows Offer users a broader range of optional, freely selectable features In short, opening up APIs would let the community unleash its creativity and help make NoteWise a richer, more customizable, and more flexible product — benefiting both the users and the platform itself.
Subscription Upgrade . Top Right ?
So I wanted to upgrade my plan and I checked a lot of the documentation that you have online and it said that I have to click on the “button in the top right”. I kept clicking my profile looking for a way to upgrade. Then eventually after a pretty long time I clicked on the cloud sync icon and there was the option to upgrade. I think in the documentation that you have online you should change the wording from “button in the top right” to be a little bit more specific. Maybe state click on the cloud sync icon to upgrade. Or better yet when you click on your profile maybe have a dedicated “Subscription” button that takes you to the subscription section. In the end what I'm saying is that I would have never guessed that I have to click on the cloud sync icon to manage my subscription versus clicking on my profile or settings. Thanks for your time
Quick Switch
Hi, as a med student, i use this quick switch key on the left upper corner a lot but unfortunately with new update it is located in a drop down key in the last. All keys appear in single line only when tab is in Landscape. But i needed that key just next to the home key. Please bring the quick switch key next to home key. Or make it able to customize and repostionable as per the user need.
Imported PDF appears blank on the other device
Hello Notewise Support, I am experiencing a synchronization issue between Notewise on my iPad mini and my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. When I import a PDF into Notewise on my iPad, the document displays correctly on the iPad, but after synchronization it appears as a blank document on the Android device. The same issue also happens in the opposite direction: when I import a PDF on Android, it displays correctly there, but appears blank on the iPad. The document itself, including its title and pages, seems to synchronize, but the PDF content is visible only on the device where it was originally imported. I have already tried exporting the PDF from Goodnotes as a flattened PDF, importing it manually from the Files app, restarting Notewise, and waiting for cloud synchronization to complete. Both devices are signed in to the same Notewise account. Could you please help me understand whether this is a known issue with cross-platform PDF synchronization? Please let me know if you need diagnostic data, screen recordings, or a sample PDF. Thank you
Change taskbar position
Hello Notewise team, I am using version 3.6.6 on an XPPEN Magic Note Pad running Android 14. I cannot change the position of the toolbar because the drag handle is not visible. Could you suggest a way to resolve this issue?
There are too many issues compared to previous versions.
The color palette takes up a lot of space on the workspace when the tablet is in landscape mode. I suggest moving the color palette to the top bar like it used to be. Allow users to hide the less frequently used options. Second, regarding sticky notes. This really isn’t working at all. Every time I want to write on a note, I have to switch to writing mode, and to move the note, I have to switch back to note mode—it’s very annoying. You should take a cue from how Samsung Note with both stylus and finger modes. If you use one finger to scroll, pressing down while writing can accidentally trigger the scroll gesture. If you use two fingers to scroll, you lose the zoom function. The Samsung Note has a very convenient screen lock button—you just tap it to lock the screen, so they should take a cue from this. I could use the old version just fine, but now that I’ve switched to the new version, it doesn’t work, so I’m having to go back to the Samsung Note. I hope they fix this soon.
App no longer work on huawei (gBox)
I updated the app a few days ago and after that it stopped working. I’m using a huawei matepad 11 with harmonyOS 3.0.0, so I have to use gBox for google services. I don’t want to lose all my school notes and I also paid for this app!
