Feature Request: Add a Polyline Tool with Sharp Angles

I would like to suggest a new feature that could significantly improve the drawing and diagramming experience in NoteWise.

Feature Request: Polyline Tool (with Sharp Angles)

Currently, the polygon tool automatically connects the first and last points, forming a closed shape. However, in many cases, it is necessary to create open shapes made of straight segments with sharp angles.

I suggest adding a new tool called Polyline, which would have the following characteristics:

  • Allows creating a sequence of connected straight line segments

  • Preserves sharp angles between segments (no smoothing)

  • Does not automatically connect the last point to the first one

  • Keeps the start and end points independent (open shape)

This tool would be extremely useful for creating diagrams, technical drawings, and structured notes where open paths are required instead of closed polygons.

    Goodnotes has this tool, but the app isn't stable on Android. That's why I'm waiting for NoteWise to add something similar.

    You already have a feature for creating polygons, so it just needs to be adapted for creating polylines. I don't think it would be too difficult to implement.

    I really like everything else about your software, but because of the absence of this basic primitive, I am considering switching to an alternative program.

    You already have a feature for creating polygons, so it just needs to be adapted for creating polylines. I don't think it would be too difficult to implement.
    Let me illustrate what I mean with a picture:


    This would be incredibly useful for creating technical drawings, which require a lot of polylines. I feel like this is a basic shape that should be available in any note-taking app.
