Feature Request: Proper Mathematical Equation Conversion & LaTeX Rendering

Hi Notewise Team,

I would like to request an improvement in the handwriting-to-text and AI workflow for mathematical formulas.

Currently, when I write a mathematical formula using the pen and then use the Lasso tool β†’ Convert to Text, the formula gets converted into plain text/LaTeX format such as \frac{} instead of appearing as a properly rendered mathematical equation.

The same issue occurs when I copy a mathematical formula from Notewise AI Chat and paste it back into the notebook. Instead of pasting as proper mathematical notation with fractions, superscripts, subscripts, roots, symbols, etc., it appears as plain LaTeX/text.

It would be very useful if Notewise could add:

  • Handwritten formula β†’ Convert to Math

  • Automatic rendering of LaTeX into proper mathematical notation

  • Ability to copy formulas from AI Chat and paste them as rendered equations

  • Editable equation objects for fractions, roots, superscripts, subscripts, matrices, summations, etc.

  • Magic Select support to convert selected handwritten formulas directly into clean mathematical notation

This feature would be extremely helpful for students and professionals who use Notewise for subjects involving a lot of mathematics, finance, statistics, engineering, and science.

Thank you!
