Notewise 4.0 – Focus Pen No Longer Working on Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

After updating to Notewise 4.0, my Xiaomi Focus Pen has completely stopped working for handwriting inside Notewise.

The strange part is that the pen itself is perfectly fine:

✅ Works perfectly on Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro

✅ Works perfectly in Mi Canvas and other apps

✅ Charges normally when attached to the tablet

❌ Does not write inside Notewise 4.0

This started immediately after the 4.0 update, so this appears to be a Notewise-specific stylus/input compatibility issue.

For me, this isn't a minor inconvenience. My entire note-taking workflow has effectively been brought to a stop, because I rely on Notewise heavily for my studies.

I also want to be honest about the 4.0 redesign: the restructuring and new interface feel significantly less intuitive and efficient compared with the previous version. I understand the need to evolve the application, but the previous workflow was much smoother for actual day-to-day note-taking.

I'd really appreciate it if the Notewise team could investigate the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro + Xiaomi Focus Pen + Notewise 4.0 issue and provide a fix as soon as possible.

Hopefully this gets addressed quickly. I genuinely want to keep using Notewise, but right now I can't take handwritten notes at all.
